Retirement and Work
Do you still feel a sense of vocation, motivation and the ability to perform? Or is a life entirely without work (as yet) unimaginable for various reasons? As a member of the Saxon Medical Pension Fund, you have the option of continuing to work whilst receiving your retirement pension. This employment has no impact whatsoever on your retirement pension. This applies to both the early, compulsory retirement pension and the deferred retirement pension.
You are no longer required to pay contributions to the pension scheme, as the obligation to contribute ends when you start receiving your pension. In some circumstances, contributions to the statutory pension insurance scheme may be required. You can obtain further information on this from your employer or the German Pension Insurance.
